HybridWhat you will do
The Director of Media Operations & Partnerships will be responsible for leading Kenvue’s media engagement strategy and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will focus on optimizing our media engagement model, managing relationships with media agencies, and driving global joint business plans (JBPs) with key media partners. The successful candidate will also oversee the global learning agenda and ensure the dissemination of best practices across the organization. This role will lead a team to deliver this global media engagement model for Kenvue.
Key Responsibilities
Media Engagement Management:
Develop and maintain Kenvue’s media engagement model with global, regional and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
Oversee the management of engagement venues, partnership KPIs, and overall media stakeholder satisfaction.
Establish a clear governance structure and decision-making process for partnership KPIs, ensuring accountability and timely alignment among stakeholders.
Develop a process for proactively identifying and resolving internal alignment issues that may impact local market compliance, ensuring that these are addressed collaboratively with the agency.
Regularly assess and enhance stakeholder requirements to maximize satisfaction and local media performance.
Partnership Strategy with External Media Agencies & Media Partners:
Define the strategic scope for external media agencies, ensuring alignment with global-to-local requirements and market dynamics.
Collaborate with media agencies to manage overall media capability requirements that drive effectiveness, efficiency and/or relevance in market execution
Ensure agency requirements are aligned with the objectives of the Global Brand Strategy Team balancing operational KPIs with business metrics and fostering close collaboration with the BDT
Collaborate with media & creative agencies on the development, implementation and governance of the new operating model and global workflows
Monitor agency performance against established KPIs and provide guidance to enhance effectiveness.
Establish a centralized, data-driven system for tracking agency performance against KPIs, leveraging both agency and client data to provide a holistic view of performance and identify areas for improvement.
Lead the development and execution of media requirements for global JBPs with key media power partners to maximize collaboration and resource sharing. Integrate as required with media, creative, tech/data and other collaborators on partnerships.
Global Learning Agenda and Best Practices:
Manage the global learning agenda for media operations, facilitating continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Ensure that the global learning agenda is integrated with local market initiatives and brand/campaign work, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Establish and curate a repository of best practices, case studies, and insights to share across teams.
Design and implement training programs to enhance the media capabilities of internal teams, fostering a culture of learning and development.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in media (either specialist/COE, or within brand planning, or at agency/media vendor)
Experience managing agency scope development, as a collaborative process with curating internal requirements and with agency partners to maximize shared value
Experience building internal global-to-local engagement model, aligned to a common global roadmap and local requirements
Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders
Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience managing global initiatives and working effectively with external agencies.
Proficiency in media measurement tools and analytics platforms.
Desired Qualifications
Experience leading global, regional, or local media planning processes, either internal or at an agency
Minimum of 5 years of media planning experience (strategy, tools, metrics, outcomes)
