What You Will Do
The Executive Commercial Quality is responsible to ensure quality & regulatory compliance of commercialized products in India domestic market as well as in its distributor-based markets (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives), Local Operating Company and the assigned 3PL Distribution centres, meeting all applicable regulations as well as applicable Global procedures, reviewing pending investigation reports, identifying and eliminating compliance risks, ensuring appropriate specifications and procedures are followed, verifying quality
agreements with suppliers, contractors and affiliates, and reporting nonconformance to the quality assurance lead. You will also ensure adherence to compliance requirements and policies outlined for marketing companies,
packaging and labelling, product testing, returned goods, product complaints and recalls.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing quality & regulatory compliance of the assigned product portfolio/s products received in India and its distributor-based markets (viz., Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives), as per the applicable regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management including New Product Development/New Product Introduction, Trade customization, Change control, Non-Conformance, Corrective & Preventive actions, of the assigned product portfolio/s and ensure they meet Health Authority and company requirement.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and consumer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance to applicable Company Quality Policy Standards and Procedures thereunder.
- Partner with local Regulatory Affairs to conduct periodic gap assessment with regulations in India domestic market as well as in its distributor-based markets, and timely & effective deployment of appropriate mitigation plan.
- Drive approval, qualification, and monitoring of applicable suppliers/service providers.
- Verify that quality agreements are in place with the suppliers, contractors and affiliates and audit for compliance.
- Ensure implementation of actions arising out of a Quality Hold/Field Action.
- Conduct audits and inspections of the processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review all products labelled for promotional purposes and ensure procedure is being followed.
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and policies outlined for marketing companies, returned goods, product complaints and recalls.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Master’s/bachelor’s degree in science/Pharmaceutical Science/Pharmacy.
- 6-8 years related experience in Commercial Quality/Corporate Quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to identify and eliminate compliance risks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure appropriate specifications and procedures are in place.
