HybridWhat you will do
The Administrative Corporate Paralegal is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to Kenvue’s Corporate Law team, in addition to providing transactional, contracting and real estate paralegal support to the Transactions Legal team and Real Estate Legal team. A true team player with an interest in the healthcare and consumer products industries, experience at a law firm or corporate law department and the desire to become a valued and contributing team member will be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support and project coordination for the Head of Corporate Law & Transactions and other Corporate Law team members.
- Managing Corporate Law expenses and budgeting and expense reporting.
- Preparing presentation materials and organizing and hosting virtual and in-person team meetings.
- Maintaining calendars & coordinating schedules for senior team members.
- Managing team resources, including contact lists, org charts and presentations and ensuring appropriate access by team members.
- Maintaining online Transactions & Real Estate File Rooms, template libraries and other knowledge management resources and ensuring appropriate access by team members.
- Conducting legal and business research and summarizing results for attorneys and business partners.
- Drafting legal contracts, correspondence and other documents related to corporate and real estate transactions.
- Managing due diligence reviews and dataroom access for corporate transactions.
- Creating organizational documents, resolutions, bylaws, operating agreements, stock certificates and closing documents in connection with corporate transactions.
- Keeping informed of Kenvue policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to the functioning of the Legal & Compliance department and providing guidance to team members.
- Building strong relationships with Corporate Law team members and others within the Legal & Compliance team locally as well as globally and Kenvue more broadly to ensure efficient and effective teamwork fostering an atmosphere of engagement.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate's degree is required, but a Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience providing administrative and/or corporate paralegal support to senior legal and/or business leaders in an office environment.
- Excellent time management skills, independent judgment, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work.
- Strong verbal and written communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
- Advanced technology and computer skills, including expertise with MS Office suite (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, OneNote & OneDrive), Box, Concur, Workday and Ariba.
- A positive attitude and the ability to act effectively and independently in a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment.
Desired Qualifications
- A paralegal certificate or certification.
- Expertise with corporate law department applications, including Onit, Persuit and Malbek.
- Prior experience in a corporate law department, law firm or working with legal documentation and issues.
