Analyst, Data Quality 

This position reports into the Manager, Data Quality & Governance and is based in Bengaluru, India.

What You Will Do:

As Analyst, Data Quality, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of data within Kenvue Operations. In this role, you will develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to maintain data standards across Functions. You will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Supply Chain Functions, Data Asset and Data Product Teams, and global process owners to promote a culture of data excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with global and regional data stewards, business analysts and business SMEs and data owners to define, develop, and maintain data quality rules and metadata
  • Develop and implement data quality rules, thresholds, and standard metrics / quality expectations for data elements that support critical business processes.
  • Drive data profiling, data cleansing, and data enrichment of data required to support Kenvue Operations digital transformation efforts.
  • Collate and review data quality requirements (e.g., completeness, timeliness, and accuracy specifications) from data consumers and SMEs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to protect sensitive data.
  • Leverage data management knowledge to maintain and define data quality and metadata processes
  • Perform root cause analysis on data quality errors, identify and recommend resolution actions
  • Assist in the definition of governance structure, policies, processes, metrics to improve and maintain the quality and ownership of data (including data owners, stewards and administrators)
  • Contribute to enhancing and continuously advancing the in-house Data Quality framework to include additional advanced Data Quality capabilities.
  • Review existing data controls and recommend additional controls as per data strategy.

What We Are Looking For 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2 – 4 years of work experience
  • Subject matter expertise regarding data management policy, Issue Management & Resolution
  • Strong knowledgeable of data-related policies and standards
  • Ability to understand metadata, data lineages, and data definitions
  • Ability to search and consolidate critical data elements information in metadata tools
  • Advanced experience in data analysis, business requirement gathering, dashboarding and reporting, preferably with Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Experience as either project lead or core project team member working within Data Quality & Governance, Digital Transformation, or other relevant domain
  • Excellent communication is required.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • CDMA certification
  • Proficiency in Python 
  • Strong IT literacy with experience in SAP ERP Systems, especially SAP S4 Hana
  • Experience working autonomously
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel.
  • Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach
