What you will do
The Assistant Key Account Manager is responsible for scheduling appointments, meeting with customers, developing new products, preparing reports, and adjusting sales strategies to achieve goals. You will also provide support to secure sales, identify market gaps, and inform the company of field activities for business planning:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to drive performance and exceed targets
- Collaborate with marketing team to create innovative campaigns and promotions
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals through the acquisition and development of new customers
- Expand the product line within the existing customer base by identifying opportunities for growth
- Lead negotiations, close orders, and prepare quotes to drive sales
- Schedule appointments for a diverse territory/client base and meet with both new and existing customers
- Provide comprehensive information and support to secure sales and enhance customer satisfaction
- Drive the development and sales of new products to meet market demands
- Analyze sales activities and identify areas for improvement to optimize performance
- Share insights on market activities and competitive intelligence to inform business and product strategies
- Regularly review sales performance against objectives and adjust strategies to achieve targets
- Execute territory coverage plan effectively to ensure maximum customer engagement and sales success
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in sales or business development
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a related field
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex business data effectively
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain business relationships
