What you will do

The Associate Brand Manager, Trade Marketing & Shopper Activation is responsible for translating brand strategies into impactful customer and shopper-facing programs across retail and e-commerce channels. This role serves as a key liaison between Brand Marketing, Customer Strategy, Sales, Field Teams, eCommerce, and external agency partners to drive omnichannel activation excellence, accelerate growth, and strengthen customer partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Brand Marketing, Customer Strategy, Sales, eCommerce, Field Teams, and agency partners to ensure alignment and flawless execution of commercial priorities.
  • Support and execute integrated trade marketing, shopper marketing, and omnichannel activation plans that support brand objectives, customer strategies, and business growth goals.
  • Own the annual activation calendar, coordinating product launches, retail programs, seasonal campaigns, retail media activations, and key commercial initiatives across channels.
  • Lead customer-specific trade customization by adapting brand strategies, promotional plans, shopper programs, and merchandising solutions to meet retailer, channel, and shopper needs. This also including trade customization for products, store execution, digital assets for brand store, PDPs, search and retail media content .
  • Drive in-store excellence through display planning and execution, merchandising initiatives, and retail activation programs that increase visibility, distribution, and shopper conversion.
  • Manage consumer engagement programs, including ratings and reviews and product sampling initiatives, to drive awareness, trial, brand advocacy, and purchase conversion.
  • Lead trade communications and equip Sales and Field Teams with activation updates, launch toolkits, selling materials, and execution resources to ensure consistent marketplace execution.
  • Facilitate recurring cross-functional business reviews, launch readiness meetings, and performance discussions, while analyzing results and providing recommendations to optimize activation effectiveness, customer impact, and return on investment.

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree required; preferably in Marketing/Business or a related field. 
  • At least 2 year of experience in brand management, trade marketing or operations business analytics, preferably within CPG.
  • Experience working on new product forecasting, insights gathering, and business case development. 
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners in a team‑based environment. 
  • Strong budget management and forecasting skills.
  • Strategy and data are the core of everything we do, so strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required. 
  • Experience with tools such as Nielsen/Circana and Numerator for data analysis. Well versed in MS Excel & PowerPoint 
  • Availability to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience working with national retailers and omnichannel customers is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to bring out the best in others. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organized thinking. 
  • Comfort learning new tools, processes, and ways of working. 
  • Curious, agile, beauty-first mindset & entrepreneurial, problem-solving skills with a willingness to ask questions and test ideas..
  • Digital marketing experience is an asset.
  • MBA preferred but not required.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$110.500,00 - $156.000,00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
