What you will do
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EH, SH&B for Band Aid Platform
The SME for Engineered Product Platform and Devices for Band Aid Platform supports or is responsible for alignment, planning, design and completion of technology platform projects and/or key initiatives. SME is also involved in the development, updating, training and application of technical platform standards, guidelines and best practices for all engineering activities. Leverages internal and external expertise and applies principles of Knowledge Management to drive innovative solutions in engineering support, project delivery and/or technical field. SME is Key enabler for Manufacturing Enabled Innovation. This SME works closely with various internal and external stakeholders.
The position owner must have a solid Technology background for engineered products and devices, Band Aid Platform, proven track record and an ability to create strong relationships with diverse functions. Must possess ability to build adoption and impact outcomes without authority. He must be able to assess complex technical processes in their entirety as well as in detail. SME must be able to carry out root cause analyzes as well as the application of problem-solving strategies.
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EH, SH&B for Band Aid Platform will:
Assists in developing and maintaining roadmaps/forecast for the platform
Propose and develop new standards that align with Kenvue's New Ways of Working and Asset Stewardship Processes.
Preferred “go-to” person for complex issue resolution for Band Aid Platform
Leads/participates in Community of Practice in own area(s) of expertise
Ensures programs/projects are aligned with the technology platform roadmaps.
Contributes to planning, scoping, quantification and implementation of all sorts of global continuous improvement programs
Maintains and optimizes the platform and standards to meet current and future needs
Assists in design/production of prototypes
Execution of engineering tasks in product development
Provides oversight to lower-level engineers on capability building
Influences internal and external peers
Builds networks and maintains contacts
Engages in internal and external benchmarking and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
Applies Equipment and process standards
Performs feasibility study of new projects, supports to define business case
Plans and/or verifies, and controls project costs and schedules
Promotes and monitors all regulatory requirements impacting platform
Develops, reviews and analyzes specifications and engineering packages
Analyzes on needs/requirements to select and engage partners and manages their performance (e.g. suppliers, consultants, etc.)
Manages engineering tasks, lean design, construction, commissioning and qualification of projects from concept through operations
· Analyze project needs to select and engage partners, managing their performance effectively (e.g., equipment suppliers, consultants).
· Ensure adherence to the project delivery process and periodically report on project progress.

What we are looking for
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of consumer technologies, process controls, and machine safety.
Experience in customized machine design and engineered products, particularly within the Band Aid Platform.Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience in technical development, construction, and provision of engineered products.Regulatory Acumen:
Ability to interpret and translate regulatory requirements into effective technical solutions while maintaining strategic alignment with corporate goals.Collaboration and Communication:
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across regional and global teams. Excellent communication skills in English for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including external suppliers and internal teams.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Proficient in abstract thinking, root cause analysis, and critical thinking, with a disciplined approach to executing solutions for complex problems.Adaptability and Innovation:
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new best practices and industry advancements, with a focus on continuous improvement.Location:
This position is based in São José dos Campos, Brazil. (Onsite Role)
