Fully OnsiteWhat you will do
As the Brand Team Lead you will be responsible for developing and managing key growth initiatives for your brand(s).
Key responsibilities:
- Manage sales and profitability attainment for the brands and achievement of key financial (NTS / GP / MC / SOM) and strategic objectives
- Develop and execute the 3-year business plan, including evaluating, analyzing and communicating in-market results, and making recommendations
- Lead future new product launches, including a short and long-term NPI & commercial innovation pipeline and claims development·
- Lead the brand’s communications strategy and development, media planning and developing promotional programs
- Ensure product demand and availability by working in conjunction with the sales and supply team (continuous reviews of the plans, strategies, innovations and ensuring that they are reflected in time in the monthly planning process)
- Monitor competitive market dynamics to inform development of, &/or changes required to plans
- Lead and execute the retail & in-store strategy, partnering with Customer & Shopper teams
- Partner with CBI to identify unique connection points, unmet needs and insights
- Coach & develop direct reports; motivate employees, assist in goal setting, provide development opportunities and performance feedback, address issues and resolve problems
- Lead cross-functional and agency teams and deliver senior management reviews and presentations
- Ensure quality and compliance among all employees through timely GMP training, strict compliance with procedures, exercising the highest integrity, timely reporting deviations noted in the workplace, and embracing employee involvement and commitment to doing the right job the first time
- Ensure employees under his/her/their scope of responsibility are trained in required procedures for the execution of their role and maintain current with training requirements during the year
- Promote an environment of employee inclusion in the workplace.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required, preferably in Business, Sales, Marketing or another related field
- A minimum of 5 years work history required. Of which a minimum 3 years of progressive marketing experience is preferred.
- Consumer Packaged Goods, seasonal product or over-the-counter product experience is preferred
- Strong command of concept development and new product process
- Proficiency in consumer research methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to positively influence with outstanding oral/written communication skills
- Advanced problem solving, decision-making and prioritization abilities
- Ability to think analytically and strategically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues
- Ability to develop and demonstrate creativity/new ideas that challenge the status quo
- Proficient in project management and financial analysis, including P&L management/forecasting
- Understanding of advertising, media, copy development/adaptation process and working with creative/PR/media agencies
- Deep understanding of digital levers as part of the marketing mix
