What you will do

The Buyer - North America Transportation supports sourcing execution, supplier management, and category strategy development across Kenvue’s North America transportation network. Partnering closely with Category Managers, Deliver Operations, Finance, and business stakeholders, this role drives cost optimization, operational reliability, and strategic value across outbound freight categories.

What Will You Do?

• Stakeholder Engagement: Support Category Managers in strategy definition, supplier identification, and project initiation. Align cross functional partners and prepare stage gate materials, business cases, and sourcing recommendations.

• Sourcing Strategy & Execution: Build category baselines, market analyses, and risk assessments. Support Go to Market design and negotiation frameworks. Lead RFP/RFQ/RFI events and develop fact based negotiation materials.

• Operational Sourcing: Execute end to end sourcing projects, including supplier screening, bid evaluations, and selection recommendations. Lead supplier performance discussions and track KPIs.

• Cost Optimization & Financial Governance: Deliver on Cost Improvement Projects (CIPs) and payment term extensions (goal: 120 days). Collaborate with Finance to validate baselines, track savings in Planisware, and ensure reporting accuracy. Monitor and reconcile forecasted vs. actual savings in Planisware, initiating corrective actions when needed. Conduct spend and cost trend analyses to identify optimization opportunities.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Co-create solutions with Operation, Procurement, Quality and Finance. Serve as a connector between strategic decisions and operational execution.

• Category Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Develop and refresh category strategies for Truckload, LTL & Parcel. Map logistics risks and lead contingency planning across the region.

Required Qualifications

· Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, with a strong focus on North American logistics (Truckload, Parcel & LTL preferred).

· Proven ability to manage complex bids and contracts across North America.

· Solid track record of delivering cost savings, optimizing payment terms, and meeting key KPIs.

· Hands-on experience with sourcing tools like Keelvar, contract management platforms like Malbek, and financial tracking systems such as Planisware.

· Highly proficients in Power BI & Excel

· Fluent in English

· Associate’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
