What you will do

The Commercial Excellence Analyst is responsible for analyzing sales performance to generate actionable insights that drive business growth. This role works closely with Sales teams to understand performance drivers, evaluate initiatives, and support strategic decision-making. The role emphasizes translating data into clear business actions, with a strong focus on commercial performance, customer dynamics, and in-market execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Performance, Customer & Channel Insights

  • Analyze sales performance across key customers and channels to identify growth drivers, gaps, and opportunities

  • Develop strong understanding of customer dynamics, shopper behavior, and market trends

  • Monitor key KPIs including sales trends, distribution, and promotional performance

  • Provide data-driven insights to support customer planning, negotiations, and commercial decision-making

  • Support team on key commercial initiatives & activities

2. Reporting & Business Support

  • Prepare regular performance reports and business reviews

  • Support forecasting and planning discussions with sales teams

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports

  • Translate data into clear, concise, and actionable presentations

3. Process Improvement

  • Improve reporting structure to enable faster and better decision-making

  • Simplify analysis and enhance usability for business teams

  • Drive consistency in reporting and performance tracking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in sales analysis, commercial, or business analytics

  • Experience working with sales teams or customer-facing functions is a strong advantage

  • Exposure to FMCG or retail business is preferred

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate data into business actions

  • Strong commercial mindset with good understanding of sales drivers

  • Ability to connect data with real in-market execution and customer impact

  • Strong Excel and presentation skills

  • Good communication in Thai and English

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with customer-level data and retail sales data

  • Ability to leverage data from sources such as Nielsen and customer offtake

  • Familiarity with analyzing sell-out data, shopper trends, and promotional performance at account level
