What you will do

The Commercial Quality & Compliance Lead, India LOC is responsible for assuring product quality, conducting investigations, utilizing statistical analysis, handling field actions, and managing compliance to local regulatory requirements of India and distributor-based markets of Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal & Maldives, for India LOC/ Local Operating Company, partnering effectively with business partners from R&D, Operation/ Supply Chain and Commercial organizations:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of quality and compliance strategies for commercial operations in India LOC, in line with Kenvue’s Global QMS.

  • Drive and strengthen compliance of Products marketed by JNTL Consumer Health India Private Limited (Kenvue India) with applicable Quality Systems and local regulatory requirements of India and distributor-based markets of Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal & Maldives.

  • Responsible for end-to-end quality compliance throughout the lifecycle of products, including new product development, repackaging, relabeling of Imported products, Change Control, Non-Conformance, CAPA, Complaint handling, Disposition of Returned Goods, Field actions/Recall, Product discontinuation of consumer health products

  • Lead & manage regulatory inspections by Health Authorities to Distribution Centers/ 3 PL warehouses and Registered Office (of India LOC)

  • Handle, in line with Kenvue QMS, all the Regulatory queries and/or notices related to products/ markets, whenever served to Registered Office (India LOC) by various health authorities, and by partnering effectively with concerned responsible from Legal Affairs, Government & Corporate Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Safety and R&D, as needed, until their effective closure.

  • Lead/Participate in Local/Regional/Global Q&C projects/initiatives with cross-functional teams like R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing Q&C, Warehouse teams as applicable.

  • Partnering with CFT for key Trade customisation projects for all Kenvue franchises -Essential Health products, Skin Health & Beauty and Selfcare to improve market penetration of Key BMC Brands

  • Support team members in their development plans and build capabilities as required by the business

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality and compliance processes, as applicable to India LOC

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and regulations in the commercial sector to proactively address potential compliance issues

  • Serve as the internal compliance expert to senior leaders and key stakeholders on external programs, exercising judgment to mitigate business risk

  • Assist in developing global compliance strategies and translating these for implementation at the local level based on local needs and objectives

  • Responsible for talent acquisition, coaching, and staff development to ensure ongoing effectiveness of the Compliance Programs & effective deployment of Commercial Q&C Operating model for India LOC, per business needs time to time.

  • Ensure the Compliance Program framework and controls effectively prevent and detect violations of laws, regulations, or policies

  • Build partnerships with senior business management to drive compliance within the organization

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in quality and compliance management in a commercial setting

  • University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in a relevant field (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food technology)

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, standards, financial or auditing practices, and company business and policies

  • Ability to lead project teams across multiple business units and functions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
