HybridWhat you will do
The Customer Development Manager is responsible for supervising the sales team for North Mindanao, particularly CDO, Zamboanga, Ozamiz and Caraga areas. He/She will lead the team in addressing customer expectations and serving their needs. He/She will also determine area opportunities together with the shopper marketing team, and manages account receivables to manage distributor cashflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with Distributor OM in hiring, training and evaluating performance of sales representatives
- Team up with Distributor Development Manager in making sure that salesman incentive targets are aligned with National & Local KRA’s
- Establishes team and individual sales goals through total channel and per account VDAC that is aligned with account’s monthly/yearly targets
- Budget Manager for Supermarkets
- Ensures that Shopper Marketing Activities are properly cascaded to sales team
- Ensures on time placement of NPI and MSL SKU
- Creates weekly report with drivers and necessary next steps to address opportunities
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales on both a group and individual level.
- Prepares/controls budgets for the covered territory.
- Coaching and mentoring sales team with quarterly sales course refresher to make sure that the salesmen never forget the basic guidelines of being a salesman.
- Works with Area Activation Manager in implementing big ticket activations in the area that will help both in revenue/customer loyalty
- Works closely with sales manager to implement annual/quarterly sales plan and necessary changes required to achieve objectives.
- SOA weekly submission, manages accounts receivables per account to make sure that there are no floating balances per account to avoid holding of orders
- Conducts yearly business review with Key customers and make sure that they are aligned with our whole year plan
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- More than 5 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Business Development, preferably in FMCG (food or non-food categories) retail environments and distribution,
- Uses creativity and innovation to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree (sales or business management is an advantage)
- Demonstrates leadership experience to maintain a high-quality performing team
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management with excellent communication skills
- Must have strong commercial and analytical skills
- Ability to negotiate with customers and to drive process improvements amidst complexity
- Preferably with experience in sales within the territory assigned, and willing to be based in Cagayan de Oro
- Proficient in computer applications
- Good driving skills and has a valid driver's license
