Was Sie tun werden

This role will be part of the Finance Operations team responsible for Compensation & Benefits Accounting. The

What you will do:

Core responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for accurately recording the costs associated with employees. This includes but is not limited to booking payroll, pension, expense, bonus, and other similar costs ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations 

  • Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements   

  • Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope 

  • Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas  

  • Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities 

  • Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy 

  • Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the individual Process SMEs to ensure cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach 

  • If assigned a role of Operational Key Contact (OKC) then candidates will be the key liaison point within their Process for a defined Region & Sector with Business Unit Finance and Legal Entity Controllers, answering queries, coordinating with SMEs/analysts on process and operational matters, resolving issues and updating partners on close status. 

  • If assigned the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) then candidates will be responsible to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach 

  • Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards 

Compliance 

  • Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities   

  • Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach  

  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings 

Leadership and People Management 

  • Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team 

  • Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team   

  • Ensure effective performance management within team  

  • Lead Accounting team of 4+ 

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in accounting or finance is required

  • CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred  

Languages:  

  • Fluent English, other language skills desirable Fluent English 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 

Experience and Skills Required:  

  • At least 4 years of professional experience is required 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels 

  • Strong Analytical Skills 

  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies 

  • Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO 

  • Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company  

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach 

  • Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines 

  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge 

  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel 

Other: 

  • Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / Asia 

  • Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned
