This position reports into a Sr. Legal and Compliance Manager and it is a hybrid position based in São Paulo/SP – Brazil.

What You Will Do 

The Coordinator, Legal & Compliance Practice Operations Latin America Region will support the implementation of strategic goals, policies and procedures, training, use of progressive systems and technologies and key metrics within the Latin America Region (“LATAM”). This role will be required to participate in many projects with executive level visibility, with a specific focus on ensuring Legal and Compliance initiatives are supported in the LATAM Region.  Candidates must be self-starters who demonstrate the internal drive necessary to support initiatives across the region.

In addition to the global Legal and Compliance function, with members in 50+ different countries, this role will liaise directly with Finance, Audit and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Leadership to translate Legal & Compliance strategies and goals into programmatic priorities and plans in LATAM
• Support department efficiency and spend optimization initiatives, including implementation and roll out of new processes and technology
• Lead matter budget, forecast, and quarterly reviews and accrual processes including requesting, tracking and reporting
• Perform external spend and rate analysis to ensure financial management initiatives are met
• Understand current challenges and near term needs to identify opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies, implement automation and enable the team to work on high value tasks
• Assist in project management opportunities
• Support initiatives to foster innovation through the use of new technology and AI
• Manage technology used in a Corporate legal department including but not limited to: Matter and Case Management, Global eBilling, eSourcing, PowerBI and/or Tableau, Power Automate, Sharepoint, Teams, CoPilot, Writer, CLM

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration or legal.
• 5+ years of work experience required in the legal industry such as a law firm, corporate legal department or legal consulting practice, with 2+ years in a legal operations role.
• Proven success operating in a global, matrix environment with numerous cross functional business partners.
• Must have excellent presentation skills, ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, and the ability to respectfully question and/or challenge others to think through problems, improvement opportunities, solutions, and plans.
• Proven ability to examine issues, make appropriate decisions and ensure prompt actions.
• Proven experience managing budgets.
• Experience with technology used in a Corporate legal department including but not limited to: Matter and Case Management, Global eBilling, eSourcing, PowerBI and/or Tableau, Power Automate, Sharepoint, Teams, CoPilot, Writer, CLM.
• Project management experience a plus.
• History of performance aligned with Kenvue Values and Behaviors.
• Proficiency in English.

Desired Qualifications

• Spanish language proficiency
• Experience in the consumer health, pharmaceutical, or related industries
• Understanding of legal and compliance processes in Latin American markets
