The field sales manager is responsible for supervising and guiding the sales team to develop and service national/key accounts, ensuring sales targets are met through effective planning, coaching, and resource management. You will analyze sales data, manage budgets, and resolve customer issues to drive business growth:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a dynamic national/key accounts sales team to exceed ambitious revenue targets through innovative sales strategies, personalized customer engagement, and clear communication of incentive plans and sales goals.
Design, implement, and adjust data-driven strategic sales and territory plans based on forecast analysis, market trends, and marketing intelligence to optimize market penetration, maximize client acquisition and retention, and ensure target achievement.
Mentor, develop, and collaborate closely with team members by fostering a culture of continuous learning, creativity, proactive problem-solving, and providing coaching, support, and guidance to enhance their skills and productivity.
Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, allocate resources efficiently, and assign sales quotas and key accounts to individual team members while monitoring progress and initiating corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and present comprehensive sales performance reports and customer profile updates to senior management to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Resolve routine customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and other teams to tailor solutions that resonate with diverse customer segments and align sales initiatives with organizational goals to improve overall business outcomes.
Utilize advanced CRM analytics, marketing intelligence, and sales data analytics to identify emerging market trends, growth opportunities, and pivot sales tactics accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.
Champion the integration of cutting-edge sales technologies and digital tools to streamline workflows, enhance team productivity, and drive sales events and projects aimed at boosting team performance and expanding market presence.
Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Desired)
5-6 years of progressive experience in field sales management or related roles
Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams in different cities or locations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license with readiness to travel extensively and perform fieldwork as required (Mandatory)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting client relationships
English B2 Intermediate
Desired Qualifications
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience in budget management, compliance adherence, and process improvement within a sales environment
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business and sales plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion
Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams with innovative strategy development and execution
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging CRM platforms and sales analytics to drive decision-making
Demonstrated ability to adapt swiftly to evolving market conditions and implement creative solutions to complex challenges
A visionary leader with a passion for mentoring and cultivating talent within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to foster team development and enhance individual performance
Knowledge of sales enablement, prospecting, qualification, and solution selling techniques to effectively close deals
Awareness of current sales trends and the ability to leverage them for competitive advantage
Knowledge of auditing in Close Up y DDD.
Knowledge of CRM (MIT or Veeva desired)
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry.
