What you will do

The Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Lead for the Alpine and Benelux markets (Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, and Netherlands), representing approximately $250MM in revenue. This position is designed to provide comprehensive analytical and reporting support, enhancing financial decision-making and driving business performance across the cluster.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Analytical Support: Own the analytical and reporting processes and tools for the Bene Alpine region, including management of the CE Datalake (Power BI), Sales Planning tools, Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis tool, and monthly business review (MBR) preparations. Connect the dots to identify opportunities for streamlining, efficiency, and optimization, while developing value-adding enhancements that address unmet business needs.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics against business plans, flagging any risks or gaps to targets to assist the business in delivering on financial commitments.
  • SG&A Controlling: Take ownership of planning and controlling of Selling, General, and Administrative Expenses for the 4 markets, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance. This involves independently managing all required activities related to budget management, with a focus on flagging any risks – both upside and downside – promptly to inform resource reallocation and corrective action decisions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations, including liaising with Legal Entity Controller to assist with audit and SOX related queries.
  • Proactive Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct thorough financial analyses to support decision-making, challenge business assumptions, and develop alternative scenarios that drive financial performance.
  • The role offers significant growth potential by enabling the analyst to gradually address undercovered areas such as Gross-to-Net controlling, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Stock in Trade management. This position will provide opportunities to develop meaningful business partnerships e.g. with key account managers, fostering collaboration and driving value creation for the organization.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong analytical background or desire to learn/grow.
  • Fluent in English

Desired Qualifications

  • High analytical capacity and problem-solving skills, with a keen business sense to identify drivers behind financial results.
  • Detail-oriented with a curiosity for learning and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), SAP and Power BI (or desire to learn)
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and effectively partner with various teams.
