What you will do
- The Intelligent Automation Sr. Engineer is responsible for ensuring continuity and continuous improvement in information management systems, developing and implementing technology platforms to improve efficiency, identifying and overseeing new projects, and presenting progress reports to management and business partners. The role is responsible for building, supporting, and evolving Intelligent Automation technology to accelerate Kenvue’s digital ambitions to automate work across the organization.
- This role will primarily focus on providing expertise and technical leadership in maintaining & expanding the Intelligent Process Automation technology offering, deepening the value proposition beyond RPA through leverage of adjacent capabilities such as Machine Learning, Generative AI, Communications Mining, Intelligent Document Processing, Natural Language Processing, Process Mining, Task Mining, etc. In addition, this role will also be responsible for standardization, governance, and compliance across the Enterprise.
- Strong communication skills, hands-on experience deploying & managing Intelligent Automation technologies, working knowledge of IT security standards and agile methodologies are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- A critical point of contact for IT-to-IT delivery & support team, connecting various IT teams to achieve objectives (local, regional and global)
- Manage the team's capacity and resource allocations based on priorities and task complexity
- Train and mentor team members on platform technologies, emerging trends, and career planning
- Developing Process Automation Models: Including RPA, Process Mining, Task Mining, and Generative AI.
- Automation Lifecycle Management: Design, development, testing, delivery, and support of automation solutions.
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the design, development, deployment, and quality assurance of automation projects in accordance with Enterprise IA Delivery Methodology.
- Project Planning and Management: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for automation projects.
- Solution Design Documentation: Responsible for all documentation related to IA projects.
- Testing Oversight: Ensure adequate stability, reliability, reporting, and exception handling during testing activities.
- Business Training: Oversee any necessary business training prior to go-live.
- Deployment Management: Ensure successful deployment of automations into production without impacting existing automations and operations.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards for automation and security.
- Support: Provide L2/L3 support for production automations.
- Technical Design Translation: Translate conceptual ‘to-be’ business processes into technical designs.
- Technology Recommendations: Recommend best-fit technology for each automation use case.
- Standards and Best Practices: Incorporate enterprise standards, other automation best practices, and technical acumen to follow and improve IA Team’s development standards.
- Knowledge Architecture: Act as an architect of knowledge identification and develop an inventory/directory of reusable automation assets.
- Quality Control: Review automation designs and code development for quality control and adherence to development standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for automation or expansion of existing automations.
- External Trends and Technologies: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in intelligent automation, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization, including RPA, Cognitive RPA.
- Open-Source Automation, Desktop Automation, AI, and Generative AI.
- Platform Capability Roadmap: Partner with IA Platform Team and Product teams to ensure the platform capability roadmap evolves to optimally serve the needs of the organization, considering emerging technology
What we are looking for
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automation solutions
- Strong understanding of Intelligent Automation (Power Platform preferred, Python Automation preferred), Gen AI, Agentic Process Automation, and other emerging automation technologies
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
- 5+ years of related experience in information technology management.
- University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend software, hardware or services.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Experience with leading automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in business planning activities.
- Ability to manage the design, development, and delivery of project solutions to specified requirements.
