Was Sie tun werden

The Key Account Manager supports the aspiration to contribute to business growth through the negotiation and implementation of an integrated Sales, Visibility, Profitability, and distribution, with the customers, ensuring we have the right product, with the right visibility, at the right time at the point of sale, will be responsible for:

1. MAIN TARGETS

  • Achieving the sales target, distribution, promotion, visibility, profitability, logistic and financial.

2. COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK

  • Ensure the correct alignment of your team to achieve the expected objectives

  • Responsible for discussing and aligning the annual objectives of your sales accounts

  • Ensure that you are a "Role Model" for your team in what regards to Leadership

  • Promote and guarantee a good working environment among your team with high collaboration, high performance, innovation, discussion of ideas and diversity, as well as ensuring that it is extended to all teams that you interact with and for processes and procedures for which you are responsible.

 3. ANNUAL BUSINESS PLANNING

  • Responsible for designing the Business Plan for your accounts, based on the Brand Plans. This task should be articulated together with your manager, as well as with the Brand Activation team. After that same plan is closed, it is up to it to carry out negotiation and implementation of the business plan.

  • Ensure compliance with the Plan, through the correct transmission of information to the Field Marketing team, which is subsequently responsible for its correct implementation at the point of sale.

  • In both, the knowledge transfer should take place in advance in the right timing, to avoid inefficiencies and ensure a correct execution.

  • Notify your supervisor of any step back while negotiating this Plan and participate in its re-design, communication, and implementation.

  • Have a perfect understanding of the various promotional mechanics available to each of your customers. To have a clear understanding of the promotional efficiency, build the plan that allows the company to be a benchmark for the different brands

  • Detect business opportunities from your customers and/or team that allow you to close gaps to the annual objective initially defined internally by the company, involving your leadership when needed

  • Establishment of inter-departmental partnerships that allow you to have perfect knowledge of the implementation status of the activity plan, category reviews, planograms and assortment of the different accounts for which you are responsible.

  • Have a perfect understanding of the P&L of your accounts, being able to build it, and articulate all variables, to achieve the best outcome for the company

  • To be an active and voice when developing partnerships with the customers

  • Establish and agree CRM plan, ensuring its execution.

  • Provide information and analysis related to the customers under your responsibility, which allow the construction of a sales and investment forecast that fits to the targets defined by the company.

4. AGREEMENT AND COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS

  • Responsible for negotiating the agreement, Commercial Conditions, and Investments by group of customers, upon approval by your Manager

  • Responsible for designing the Commercial Conditions of Contracts according to the “Customer Investment Policy” defined by the company, and upon approval by Management

 

5. MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure the monthly update of main reports, and monthly review of the annual estimate of your accounts.

  • Develop a set of sell in, sell out analyses, and business management indicators that allow you to obtain a perfect understanding of the business for which you are responsible

  • Management and communication of discount grids, related to the plan defined for each of the groups/clients, prior to the start of the promotional period.

  • Management of customers' investment provisions, to ensure the correct allocation’s.

  • Market Shares knowledge, market dynamics and understanding of the impact of your performance on it.

  • Identify, monthly, your sales plan as a basis, have a clear view about your forecast needs to ensure correct inputs for the total company's forecast, involving the Demand Planner in your plan and being able to close it in advance with the minimum of 3 months.

  • Responsible for managing product mix for your customers, efficiently and according to the Must stock list. 

  • Manage the promotional plan with the focus on service level and simultaneously maximizing sales and profitability.

 

6. SALES MANAGEMENT:

  • Define with the Customer Development Manager the strategy for customers under your responsibility, and its implementation.

  • Responsible for negotiating the annual supply contracts for customers under your responsibility

  • Monitoring of negotiations of centralized investments

  • Coordination of promotional actions between customers in your channel

  • Analyze, together with the Customer Development Manager, the IT tools available to the department, detecting areas for improvement.

  • Application of Kenvue methodologies in business management

  • Represent the Mass Market sales team, in international meetings when requested

7. INTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS

  • Represent your customers and team within the framework of existing internal alignment meetings. Responsible for achieving the proposed and agreed results.

  • Deep knowledge of how your accounts, being able to transfer that same knowledge into the organization, and involve your peers in decision-making

  • Responsible for developing a strong and close partnership with Customer Service, Demand Planning, Brand Activation, Marketing, Finance and the Sales team.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s qualification in Management, Economics or Marketing.

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in business account management or related sales roles

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret complex business data

  • Proficiency in MS OFFICE and digital communication platforms

  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively build and sustain business relationships

  • Demonstrated capability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced, and matrixed organizational environment

  • Robust analytical reasoning and critical thinking abilities to address challenges and optimize sales outcomes

  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and resource management to achieve defined sales objectives

  • Experience in leveraging sales enablement tools, conducting impactful presentations, and facilitating product demonstrations

  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and sales strategies to maintain competitive advantage and drive business growth

  • Strong leadership qualities with experience in team supervision, budget management, and performance evaluation

  • Competence in managing difficult customer interactions and resolving complaints to ensure client retention and satisfaction

  • Capability to inspire trust and foster collaborative partnerships
