Role reports to Director - Data Science and Digital Solutions.
As Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile practices across multiple teams. You will be responsible for guiding teams in the delivery of high-quality products and solutions in the data and analytics space. Your expertise in scaled Agile frameworks, preferably Scrum@Scale, will be essential in ensuring that Agile methodologies are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Scrum Master, certified in Agile methodologies, proficient in implementing scaled Agile frameworks, and a passionate leader dedicated to fostering Agile practices across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership: A leader who serves, an Agile evangelist, promoting Agile principles and practices across the organization.
Scrum Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Coaching and Mentoring: Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Scaled Agile Implementation: Lead the adoption of scaled Agile frameworks (preferably Scrum@Scale) to manage multiple teams working on interconnected projects. (SoS, SoSoS, scaled events and roles)
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing actionable strategies to increase team performance and productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery, ensuring that teams remain focused and aligned on objectives.
Training and Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance Agile understanding and practice across the organization.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
- 10 - 12 years of experience as Scrum master in the IT industry, preferably with background in data and analytics.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification, with additional certifications in Agile frameworks preferred.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex products and solutions using Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience implementing and leading scaled Agile frameworks, preferably Scrum@Scale.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, with the ability to adapt them to various team contexts.
- Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within and across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remove impediments and manage conflicts effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.) and metrics tracking.
