Kenvue Canada's corporate office is currently located in Markham, ON but is scheduled to move to North York (Yonge and Sheppard area) in or around Q3 2026.
What you will do
The Senior Account & Shopper Marketing Manager plays a critical role in executing shopper marketing, retailer media, and corporate program plans across Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) and Loblaw (LCL). This hybrid role includes SDM account ownership, with direct accountability for customer execution, investment management, performance analytics, and buyer engagement, partnering closely with the Senior Customer Team Lead to deliver against joint business priorities.
The successful candidate will bring strong customer leadership, executional excellence, and analytical rigor, with the ability to manage complex programs, influence cross‑functional partners, and drive results with senior retailer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Shopper Marketing
Own the development and execution of annual and seasonal shopper marketing programs, aligning brand priorities to SDM/LCL strategies.
Manage asset routing, creative approvals, timeline planning, and agency coordination to ensure flawless execution.
Lead PCO submissions, tracking, allocations, and compliance, aligning to SDM/LCL expectations and internal brand guidance.
Own Advance Media strategy & execution including briefing, KPI setting, asset delivery, optimization, and closed-loop reporting.
Coordinate Corporate Programs and Enterprise Program participation for LCL and SDM, validating merchandising, investment levels, and execution requirements.
Act as primary day-to-day contact with SDM Marketing and Advance Media teams to activate in-store, digital, and loyalty-based communication.
Deliver post‑campaign reporting and insights leveraging retailer media dashboards, PCO results, and in‑store execution performance.
Account Management
Lead weekly and monthly category performance reviews covering POS, share, distribution, promo ROI, and customer-specific opportunities.
Own category director presentations, innovation sell-ins, promotional pitches, and business reviews.
Lead execution of promotions, distribution changes, planogram updates, and PDP enhancements with Category Insights.
Manage and own sales and trade forecasts.
Serve as a key contributor to Joint Business Planning through insights, activation recommendations, and media/PCO alignment
Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build and maintain strong working relationships with SDM category directors, marketing teams, Advance Media, and LCL Procurement.
Partner with Sales, Brand, Finance, Insights, and external agencies to align priorities and deliver best‑in‑class activations.
Communicate and manage program progress, risks, and deliverables, escalating where needed with support from the Senior Customer Team Lead.
Analytics & Financial Performance
Track program performance across in‑store, digital, and loyalty touchpoints using SDM Vendor tools, LCL media dashboards, PCO data, and internal metrics.
Build post-event insights and create recommendations to optimize ROAS, conversion, and category performance.
Own desk-level PNL including shopper marketing budget, PCO loyalty investment, trade and media investments, and PO/invoice management.
Support annual negotiation of PCO loyalty and Loblaw Data (LDIA) contracts
Operational Excellence
Own campaign trackers, timelines, program documentation, PCO trackers, and internal scorecards.
Ensure vendor setup, PO creation, invoicing, and internal approvals are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain structured documentation for all media, PCO, and shopper activities to support JBPs and audits.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A University degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
5-7 years of shopper marketing, customer development, category, brand, or CPG experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead accounts and programs independently and take initiative - must be a strong self‑starter.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability in presenting to buyers and cross-functional partners.
Excellent project management ability and attention to detail.
Strong analytical capability with comfort translating data into action
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with SDM or LCL is preferred.
Hands-on experience with consumer product marketing, loyalty programs, retailer media platforms is a strong asset.
Experience with Skin Health category is an asset.
Experience managing trade, shopper marketing, and media budgets
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
What’s in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$92,600.00 - $142,600.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
