The Senior Analyst - Financial Reporting is responsible for preparing end‑to‑end financial close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across APAC & EMEA entities. The position supports balance sheet integrity, OneStream/KTBS submissions, BSAR/BS2 reviews, and coordination with global process teams to resolve accounting issues. It requires strong technical accounting skills, detailed analysis, and proactive collaboration to maintain high‑quality financial reporting:
Key Responsibilities
· Support monthly and quarterly close by updating monitoring files, importing Trial Balances, and preparing S2T and TB Proof reports. In accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements
- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope
- Deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of the worldwide procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas
- Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items
- Perform OneStream pre-check validations, investigate exceptions, and coordinate corrections with process teams.
- Prepare and submit supplemental OneStream files, including BS2, MVA, Intangibles, and A&D.
- Monitor BSAR submissions and assist in reviewing BS2 Balance Sheet Commentary.
- Prepare and distribute BlackLine SOX Verification (SVR) reports.
- Process topside adjustments and support year-end activities such as journal threshold reviews, STF reversals, and annual balance carryforward.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to financial close and interconnecting processes.
- Participate in huddles, planning meetings, and touchpoints with leaders for alignment.
- Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training and feedback
- Ensure the team’s adherence to accounting policies and procedure
Compliance:
- Adhere to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 4-6 years of professional experience is required
- Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills desirable
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
- Experience in a Global Accounting for a large multi-state company
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
- Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP and Blackline preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel
- Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / Asia
- Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned
