Senior Sourcing Specialist

This role will be part of the Sourcing Operations (APAC) within the Global One Procurement Business Function. Sourcing Operations function provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial, compliance, procurement, and enablement solutions to our Operating Companies around the world.

This position will be based out of Bangalore (India) and will report into Regional Sourcing Manager (APAC).

What You Will Do 

I   Source to Contract Management

Sr. Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and contracting of services within the Indirect Services Category in the market of India. He or she will help in running sourcing projects independently within following sub-categories –

·       IT Infrastructure and Services

·       Business Services (which includes HR Services, Consulting and Other Professional Services)

·       Marketing Services

II   Senior Stakeholder Management

Sr. Sourcing Specialist will wield independent charge for management of internal as well as external stakeholder relations. Internal stakeholders will encompass of Business Leadership, Regional Category Leadership, Cross-Functional Leadership and Global Sourcing Leadership, while external stakeholders will include vendors, consultants, partners and contractors. He or she will work closely with country and regional category managers in successfully executing the category strategy and create business value via procurement process.

III   Sourcing Value Chain Execution

Sr. Sourcing Specialist will execute the end-to-end value chain of sourcing process independently, which includes following steps -

·       Market analysis to understand market, product, and price trends of services, and formulate sourcing strategy

·       Vendor identification and qualification/audit, in consultation with business

·       Execution of Request for Proposal (RFP)/bidding process, wherever needed

·       Price and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) negotiation with vendor

·       Contract drafting, redline negotiation (with vendor) and document execution, in consultation with legal team

·       Value creation (savings record and monitor) and spend management.

·       Strict adherence to Kenvue Sourcing Policy and Approval matrix

What We Are Looking For

I   Academic Qualification

Appropriate university/bachelor degree qualification is essential. A recognized certification in procurement or supply chain management or any procurement platforms or spend analytical tools would be considered as an added asset

II   Communication Capability

Mandatory High Level Language Proficiency (READ, WRITE & SPEAK) in English and Hindi. Any other recognized certification in any other foreign language would add weightage to the candidature

·    Experience: 3+ years’ professional experience in the same functional domain or other related positions, preferably knowledge of category at hand and working in an international environment; good experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting area is necessary.

·    Technologically savvy, stakeholder focus; flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business.
