Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Category Solutions professionals, building analytical, strategic, and storytelling capabilities while fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.
- Develop & foster collaborative, trust-based and growth focused partnerships across Kenvue and with our retailer partners.
- Champion category and customer insights with internal colleagues to build retailer-specific category/retail innovation initiatives
- Champion advanced category analytics and storytelling—translating complex data into clear, compelling insights that influence internal stakeholders and retailer decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Digital Commerce (dComm), and Global teams to align category strategies with broader commercial, innovation, and operational priorities.
- Partner with Global Kenvue partners on Category / Retail Reinvention insights and projects to deepen category expertise and improve local execution
- Develop omnichannel category recommendations that integrate in‑store, dComm, and digital execution, to drive total business growth.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of enterprise Category Solutions tools, frameworks, and playbooks to enable scalable, consistent, and high-impact category execution.
- Identify emerging category trends, shopper behaviors, and innovation opportunities to support retailer-specific category reinvention and long-term growth.
- Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve efficiency, elevate insight quality, and free capacity for higher-value strategic work.
What we are looking for
Skills / Experiences
Required:
- A University degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience across Category Solutions, Customer- Facing or Customer Strategy roles.
- Prior experience in Category Solutions/ Category Management
Desired:
- Proven track record of successfully working in a complex, matrix organization.
- Demonstrate results orientation while empowering and holding the team accountable for results.
- Proven experience thinking “out of the box” to develop strategies and tactics. Strategic problem solver and ability to craft business plans for short term and long-term thinking
- Demonstrated strong storytelling ability, effectively communicating insights and strategies drawn from analytics and numbers to influence decision-making
- Previous people leadership experience preferred. Must demonstrate ability to coach, mentor and lead high-performance teams and individuals.
- Deep Walmart experience, Walmart Category Advisor experience is a key asset
What’s in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$108,700.00 - $158,700.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
