The EHS Manager is responsible for partner with site leaders to cultivate strong EHS performance by encouraging employee engagement and shared ownership of EHS programs.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with site leaders to cultivate strong environmental, health & safety (EHS) performance by encouraging employee engagement and shared ownership for EHS programs
Grow the EHS team through effective coaching and robust talent development plans
Coordinate continual improvements to the EHS management system to maintain ISO 14001 certification
Facilitate EHS program compliance against Kenvue and regulatory standards by identifying program gaps and implementing action plans
Support environmental permit applications and serve as the facility liaison for EHS regulatory agencies such as PA DEP and OSHA
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
At least 8 years of EHS experience
Experience leading EHS programs in an occupational environment
Experience leading teams or direct people management
Strong leader who builds trust to achieve desired results
Experience in identifying, evaluating and controlling EHS hazards in the workplace
Knowledge of state and federal EHS regulations and an ability to quickly interpret regulatory issues and provide a recommended course of action is required
Desired Qualifications
An undergraduate or graduate degree in science, engineering or other technical field
People Leader experience with multiple direct reports
Experience with Process Safety Management
Experience in an FDA/GMP environment
Certifications such as PE, CIH, CSP
