What you will do

Enterprise Specialist REDWOOD RunMyJobs Operator
We are seeking a skilled SAP Operations Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in enterprise job scheduling, automation, and SAP application support. The primary focus of this role is managing and optimizing batch operations but the role will also involve supporting other operational and project tasks as needed across SAP systems.The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Redwood RunMyJobs and a solid understanding of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, or BW), including job chains, batch processes, and interface monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and optimize batch job schedules using Redwood RunMyJobs
• Develop and maintain Redwood automations, calendars, parameters, and custom scripts
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure timely and successful execution of background jobs
• Troubleshoot failed or delayed jobs, ensuring minimal business disruption
• Implement and test Redwood automations for new business processes and SAP releases
• Participate in migration, upgrades, and integrations involving SAP and Redwood
• Maintain documentation of job schedules, dependencies, and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with change management, audit, and data security policies

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations or automation, including 2+ years with Redwood RunMyJobs
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or BW job processing and architecture
• Experience with job chains, variants, IDoc monitoring, interface scheduling, and SM37/SM21 troubleshooting
• Ability to write and debug Redwood scripts or automation logic
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, especially incident and change management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in SAP migrations or job scheduler transitions (e.g., Control-M to Redwood)
• Familiarity with Redwood SaaS platform
• Exposure to cloud-based SAP systems or hybrid architecture
