Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for Redwood batch scheduling platform, ensuring successful execution of batch jobs and workflows.
- Monitor daily batch job processing, identify failures, and perform troubleshooting and resolution.
- Manage job scheduling, dependencies, and workflow automation within Redwood.
- Perform incident management and root cause analysis for batch failures and system issues.
- Collaborate with SAP, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve batch-related issues.
- Support job scheduling requests, modifications, and enhancements from application teams.
- Ensure SLA compliance for batch processing and issue resolution.
- Maintain documentation for batch schedules, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Assist with batch performance optimization and capacity planning.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and configuration updates for the Redwood environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in batch scheduling or workload automation support.
- Hands-on experience with Redwood RunMyJobs or Redwood workload automation platform.
- Experience supporting enterprise batch processes integrated with SAP environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for batch failures, dependencies, and scheduling conflicts.
- Knowledge of job scheduling concepts, workflow orchestration, and automation frameworks.
- Experience working in production support environments with incident management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP batch job scheduling and integration with Redwood.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting or automation scripts.
- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools and IT operations processes.
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices.
