What you will do 

The Customization Planner is responsible for ensuring the optimal level of supplies of locally customized packs to support monthly sales forecasts. He or she will work with the internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain demand and supply balance and will proactively raise and mitigate supply-related risks that can result in sales loss or business wastes. The Customization Planner also actively drives the execution of the short-term (3-month horizon) sales and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master production scheduling: Provide the weekly finished goods requirements plan to the external customization supplier based on the latest sales forecast. Lead the resolution of operational issues which can result in supply delays.

  • Sales and execution planning: Collaborate with Commercial, Regional Supply Planning and external customization supplier to reconcile demand and supply to support delivery of the IBP plan

  • Rough-cut capacity planning: Own the rough-cut capacity planning process with the external customization supplier to provide the business with a longer-term visibility on customization line capacity utilization. Work with the cross-functional teams on tactical interventions to address known capacity constraints.

  • Inventory management: Maintain an optimal inventory level of locally customized SKUs while delivering required customer service levels

  • Risk mitigation: Proactively raise and resolve supply availability risks due to capacity constraints or WIP and/or packaging material availability.

  • Performance monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPI): OTIF-D, Supplier OTIF and supplier quality performance

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supply planning experience, preferably in the consumer goods industry

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed global organization and with external parties

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university or higher

  • Working experience with an ERP system such as SAP, APO and SNP, and advanced planning systems such as Anaplan

  • Analytical skills: Strong capability in dissecting data, identifying patterns and trends, and drawing actionable insights

  • Problem solving: Aptitude for identifying challenges and desire to implement effective solutions

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Collaboration: Ability to work with and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
