Data Engineer – Global CBI Data Operations

This position reports to Data Operations Director and is based at Brazil.

What you will do 

This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support business needs aligning them to the company strategy. This person will interact with stakeholders, analyze data integration and harmonization options, and drive end-to-end development of data pipelines.  

This role will collaborate closely with IT and Tech & Data teams to optimize data strategy, infrastructure, and best practices.  

For the regional LATAM scope, the Data Engineer will ensure data quality for syndicated data and act as a bridge between data suppliers, Redslim, and business users to enhance data accuracy and reliability.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and define data integration, harmonization, and development needs. 
  • Design and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, and other tools. 
  • Develop and maintain data models, transformations, and workflows to enable seamless data integration. 
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security best practices are applied across all data solutions. 
  • Work closely with IT, Tech & Data teams to optimize data infrastructure and maximize collaboration. 
  • Leverage Azure cloud services to enhance data storage, processing, and analytics capabilities. 
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline data operations.
  • Provide Tableau and Power BI support, including dashboard development and optimization. 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related fields. 
  • Expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL, and ETL tools for data processing and transformation. 
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting. 
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services for data management and analytics. 
  • Experience in data governance, data modeling, and best practices for data strategy. 
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools for tracking data projects. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business, IT, and technical teams in a global environment. 
  • Experience working with syndicated data, market research data, or CPG data is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to data challenges.
