Job Description

Kenvue is recruiting for a GS1 Product Data Syndication Business Analyst, DI&T DTO to be located in Skillman, NJ or (Remote).

The Business Analyst will be a key role in the Digital Identification & Traceability (DI&T) department within the Kenvue Digital Transformation Office (DTO) organization. This role will be responsible for executing the implementation of product data syndication to Kenvue’s customers using GS1 standards for several programs including Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) and  Verified by GS1 (VbG) in Kenvue, serving as a point of contact and having day-to-day leadership with GS1 Member Organizations, Customers, Kenvue Supply Chain partners, and other functions in the organization to ensure execution of our capabilities and service to our customers' requirements. The role will lead expansion of Kenvue’s product data syndication footprint to bring efficiencies to the organization by implementing standard solutions and processes while satisfying customer product data requirements.

The scope of the current role includes:

  • Geographic Breadth – this role is global, reaching customers in all regions where value can be driven through standards-based product data syndication solutions.
  • Business Breadth – End-to-End SC functions (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality), IT, Master Data, Regulatory Affairs and Finance.
  • Levels of influence – peers, managers, customers, GS1 industry groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the ongoing end-to-end efforts to understand customer requirements for product data needs via the GS1 industry standard.
  • Build and drive roadmap to expand Kenvue’s data syndication program by assessing the current global landscape across customers, authorities, and GS1 Member Organizations.
  • Collaborate with Commercial team to establish product data syndication within customer programs and metrics.
  • Manage projects for extending Kenvue’s data syndication program, including reaching customers or countries not yet implemented, or extending capabilities.
  • Track and report progress of new implementations by summarizing status of active projects including timeline of new customer / new country implementations and high level deliverables required.
  • Identify the E2E process to automate the flow of product data for new implementations from source to customer, including ERP/master data systems, Product Information Management (PIM) solution, data pools, and local / country requirements, and any tie-in to additional needs including eCommerce digital shelf data or certification requirements of products.  Collaborate with internal and external teams to enable the ongoing E2E synchronization or implement new processes.
  • Support delivery and synchronization of product data to our customers through:
    • Complete timely submissions via our Product Information System, collaboration with internal teams that source the data, commercial teams, and customers.
    • Drive resolution to program level customer issues on synchronized product information to ensure no disruption to sales of products.
    • Evaluate emerging needs from customers and evaluate opportunity through cross-functional team engagements including commercial. master data, regulatory, technology.
    • Educate and drive the use of standards based processes to meet our customers’ product data needs
  • Identify opportunities for value creation for the business and customers/partners; execute them as prioritized.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 years experience executing data synchronization programs
  • Understanding of data synchronization tools including a Product Information Management (PIM) tool, a GDSN data pool, digital asset management solutions, and digital shelf technologies to efficiently execute on product data as an asset.
  • Knowledge of GS1 industry standards for the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) and the role of GS1 Member Organizations
  • Strong understanding of the consumer goods industry and end-to-end Supply Chain interactions, interdependencies, and end-to-end business/IT architecture
  • SAP experience with material master data is preferred.
  • Strong management skills to lead, influence, and provide direction to others in a complex matrix organization.  Comfort with leading multiple projects / initiatives.
  • Ability to develop relationships and inspire confidence and trust from internal and external partners at all levels.
  • Experience with making data-informed decisions, with concrete examples of outcomes resulting from defining and measuring success.
  • Ability to develop relationships and inspire confidence and trust from internal and external partners at all levels.
  • Ability to write SOPs using good documentation practices.
  • Experience using Tableau / data reporting tools is preferred.
