The Demand Planning Senior Manager is expected to lead and oversee the demand planning process to reach accurate forecasts by building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, influencing and challenging assumptions, focused on driving organization to maximize business goals. This individual will work with commercial organization and the local management board, providing direct oversight into demand planning, IBP and help in executing the Operations strategy for the market in line with our 3YOP (Operating Plan). This role plays a key role in driving the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) in the market to help deliver planned growth and the financial KPIs like GP, IBT and Free Cash Flow (Inventory). The role also coordinates with the regional Supply Planning hub to ensure replenishments parameters are well aligned to ensure availability of the finished goods at the right quantity at the right time.
This position reports into the Supply Chain Director for Philippines and Indonesia and is based in BGC, Taguig, Philippines.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Monitoring
- Performance Metrics: Oversee monthly analysis and root cause analysis related to key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine demand planning processes, incorporating best practices to enhance results
Base Demand Generation
- Data Analysis: Ensure in-depth analysis of historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant metrics to inform forecasting
- Demand Forecasting: Ensure that models considers review/adjustments based on market trends and/or outliers in data sets across product lines and markets.
- Technology Utilization: Oversee the implementation and effective use of demand planning tools and software to improve forecast accuracy
Demand Construction
- Assumption Model: Leads teams to achieve expected forecast vale add (FVA) by incorporating/refreshing building blocks in Demand Review •
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to gather insights and refine forecasts.
- Portfolio Management: Have a deep understanding about the portfolio in E2E perspective and ensure that each product stage use appropriate forecast approach in life cycle management
Demand Validation
- Strategic Leadership & Business Acumen: Integrate and fit short-term actions with long-term strategies in demand plan, aligning with business goal and customer centricity mindset
- Risk Management & Scenario Planning: Identify potential risks in the forecast and develop contingency plans to address them.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate forecast insights, challenges, and strategies to senior leadership and other key stakeholders in Commercial and Supply Chain.
- IBP Process: Lead and/or participates in IBP forums as applicable
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the demand planning team, ensuring continuous learning and growth.
- Bring to life and become an ambassador of Kenvue’s behaviors, purpose and values
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Preferably MBA / Master’s Degree with specialization in supply chain/ operations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in dissecting data, identifying patterns, and drawing actionable insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced demand planning tools and software.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align detailed forecasts with strategic business objectives. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across departments.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions. Leadership/Team Management: Proven experience in leading, coaching and developing teams.
- Supply Chain Certification: APICS, IBF desirable
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience
- System Experience: ERP (SAP, APO, SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (Anaplan) preferred
