What will you

External Manufacturing MAKE Excellence Lead

We are currently recruiting an External Manufacturing MAKE Excellence Lead to be based in Prague, Czech Republic

As an External Manufacturing MAKE Excellence lead you will be responsible for driving key MAKE initiative defined in EMEA MAKE strategy document. This will involve identifying & delivering cost improvements, driving OEE/productivity improvement in EM, Performance management & Strengthening Zero Waste Culture. Role also includes building core competencies & capabilities to deliver Best-In-Class performance in External MAKE Organization.


Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Operations Management

  • Design the roadmap & mid-long-term strategy for EM MAKE in EMEA in collaboration with MAKE strategy.
  • Lead the CIP program for External MAKE incl.
    • Lead Process to identify cost improvement / GP improvement projects in External MAKE – Lead Value Creation for the function with E2E mindset.
    • Develop future project pipelines for long term sustainability and continuous cost reductions. Ensure flawless execution of projects.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams and regional teams for target settings, periodic reviews, reporting and bridging gaps.
  • Drive Operational excellence & OEE Improvement
    • Apply Lean manufacturing tools & TPM principles to improve operational excellence.
    • Support Manufacturing Core teams to identify OEE improvement opportunities and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Define & develop the performance management for EM Make in EMEA
  • Liaison with SC Excellence to drive the key business agenda like Agility (Leadtime reduction, MOQ improvements)
  • Work with EMEA MAKE Excellence to develop key capabilities for EM team.
  • Work with cross function teams and EM MAKE to deliver the cost targets (OCNIS, SLOB).
  • Program Management & Managing Critical Projects
    • Program Management for critical regional, global initiatives on cost, technology.
    • Support in Benchmarking best practices and cost benefit analysis for projects.
    • Remove roadblocks in project execution for timely delivery.
    • Ensure prudent CAPEX Spends.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the following areas: Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Project Management, Sourcing or Deliver.
  • Process Excellence and Continuous improvement experience in Supply Chain and/or manufacturing environment with certifications in Six-Sigma or Lean processes is desirable.
  • Experience working in the area of OTC products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics is preferred.
  • Proven leadership / interpersonal skills, communication.
  • Network Management - Influence, negotiation.
  • Proactive, independent, self-leadership.
  • High integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Partnership, collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (cGMP, GMP’s, DEA, etc.) is desirable.
  • End to End Supply Chain understanding and track record of improvements in processes that maximizes organizational value.
