Job Description
As a strategic problem solver, technologist, and an expert in intelligent automation products, this role will empower our technology and business partners by delivering streamlined and modern processes that allow focus on differentiated high-value add tasks that will be foundational in achieving our digital-first ambitions.
What you will do
The Intelligent Automation Activation Lead is responsible for translating business needs into technology solutions by managing timelines and development resources.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of integrated IA strategy for value streams & process areas: Shape and evolve the strategic application of AI & Automation to ensure focus on value creation, as well as optimizing solutions with consideration of technology architecture and the data & analytics strategy. Communicate updates to and collaborate with senior leadership and global process owners, ensuring consistency in messaging and tailoring that messaging appropriately based on the audience.
Understand business needs and opportunities: Identify common themes and use cases across regions within value streams, as well as their impact on overall business outcomes across revenue, costs, productivity, experience (employee, customer, consumer) and compliance.
Deliver and accelerate value realization: Define and track KPIs to capture value realization for strategic initiatives at least quarterly, partnering back with Global Process Owners, T&D Experience Teams and Finance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Promote reusability and minimize redundancy across product portfolio: Ensure leveragability and re-useability of IA solutions where applicable to common challenges and opportunities across regions and functions.
Optimize Investments: Manage the operational and investment budgets by value stream, closely partnering with the Process Excellence, Engineering and Platform leads to ensure automation projects meet or exceed expectations, delivered on time, delivered on budget and are transitioned into support with low issue rates.
Deliver and accelerate value realization: Define and track KPIs to capture value realization for strategic initiatives at least quarterly, partnering back with Global Process Owners, T&D Experience Teams and Finance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Contribute to an IA community of practice (COP) through enterprise knowledge sharing: Participate in Global Enterprise COP with other Automation & Strategy Activation Leaders to ensure alignment of work to Global Enterprise OKRs, areas of cross-regional synergies and opportunities for integrated program management (e.g., Invoice To Cash solutions for both NA and EMEA)
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, Business, or a similar field. Advanced degree preferred
10+ years of related experience supporting automation technology deployments: process mapping, feasibility analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
4+ years of product management experience
Experience in: managing priorities, balancing resources between operational support and enhancements, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
Experience designing and implementing RPA, MSFT Power and AI solutions across a variety of business and technology processes
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms: UIPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, MS Power Automate, MS Co-Pilot O365
Experience leveraging Generative AI and other AI capabilities to augment automation projects ie. Text Extraction, Sentiment Analysis, Agentic AI and Chatbot solutions
Experience with a broad set of process intelligence capabilities is considered an asset: process mining, task mining, business process management
The ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a complex, matrixed environment - leading through influence and deep collaboration across the enterprise
The ability to manage ambiguity and shape new initiatives/business from scratch
Strategic thinking and big picture orientation /business acumen with ability to comfortably interact with executive stakeholders
Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization and with external credibility
Provide technology thought leadership - latest advances in the market, trends, and modern technology frameworks (e.g., Agile, XOps)
