The Process Improvement Engineer based in Cali is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence aligned with the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of continuous improvement systems, as well as ensure the understanding, adoption and application of the best practices by Site colleagues.
- Execute continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen. Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and improve transformation costs.
- Spearhead scenarios to identify opportunities for improvement in the processes. Guide and coach project leaders to ensure the successful implementation of projects and the capture of benefits.
- Support and participate in training programs focused on the operational level to understand losses, tools and participation programs to reduce them, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at the Site.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on digital tools and data analysis, bring good practices used in other industries and companies and define action plans for their local implementation.
- Collaborate globally and regionally with the exchange of ideas, lessons learned and advancement of the activities of continuous improvement system, seeking standardization and improvement of productive capacities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Industrial/Process Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry
- Ability to drive change, be results oriented, have excellent communication skills, have strong technical aptitude.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent·
- English intermediate
