What You Will Do
The Regional Tax Senior Tax Analyst will support the Regional Tax Team in [AMEA/Asia Pacific]across a full spectrum of tax planning and compliance processes, including tax provision, transfer pricing, audit support, business analysis, process improvement and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities for designated companies and processes in [EMEA/Asia Pacific] include:
Quarterly and annual review of Affiliate income, including transfer pricing analysis, trend/driver analysis and bridging results between cycles.
First level review of Corporate Income tax provisions, tax returns, tax payments, supporting data and other deliverables.
Prepare of quarterly and annual forecast and actual analysis of Effective Tax Rate and Cash Tax results.
Prepare and review data and documentation in support of audit, transfer pricing and business planning activities. Maintain audit-ready archive for designated Affiliates.
Track and support the execution of tax payments.
Withholding tax process support, including document collection and storage.
Collaborate and participate in projects, process improvement initiatives, global system implementation work, tax accounting work, finance projects and other special projects.
Support Tax Planning teams with projects, completing document requests, coordinating meetings and actions, preparing materials, presentations, etc.
Collaborate with multiple functions including Finance, Operations and other tax teams, both locally and overseas.
Develop, own and manage regional document storage, templates and process materials.
Interact with third party tax service providers, coordinating deliverables, review work and process execution.
Standarize current processes and seek improvement and automation opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree above in accounting, finance or tax.
Big 4 Public Accounting and/or multinational company experience preferred.
Fluency in English, can attend calls with teams across global independently.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with general accounting/financial and tax processes & principles or related business experience.
Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Advanced Excel skills; willingness and ability to utilize other technology resources.
Strong analytical abilities (data, fact patterns, external tax/legal frameworks) and basic accounting.
Possess strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional, non-tax personnel.
Ability to work well in a multinational physical and virtual team environment.
Desired Qualifications
Experience managing multiple tax jurisdictions is preferred.
Tax accounting, TP or international tax experience will be preferred.
Professional certification such as CPA preferred.
SAP experience beneficial.
Experiencce with automation tools and technologies is highly valued.
