What will you

The Kenvue Procurement Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Procurement organization in identifying & tracking financial opportunities and risks, guaranteeing the execution of our strategy. The position relies on deep financial analysis and insights, while also engaging in meaningful exchanges with Global Procurement (COE) and Regional Source Finance teams.

The role requires both detailed analytics as well as an ability to operate from a big picture perspective to ensure alignment with SC Procurement strategies.  This includes the reporting & analytics of SC procurement spend across all sourcing categories and actively driving transparency of key financial metrics to deliver maximum value for the business and enable decision making. Therefore, the successful candidate should be someone with a strong background in technical and analytical abilities. This position will also be a relied upon member of the Global Source Finance team to contribute towards and drive key process improvement / standardizations, such as PPV (Purchase Price Variance) reporting, EM directed-buy & standard costing process etc.

Main responsibilities

  • Drive the monthly Actuals processes for both Direct and Indirect Procurement
  • Actively review results with Regional Source Finance teams and build meaningful and insightful reports that drive decision-making
  • Drive transparency and insights to the financial implications of external market forces (e.g., inflation) and develop robust modelling to explain & forecast changes to supplier spend
  • Own processes critical for the month-end closing and regional results consolidation as well the development of the categories’ scorecards
  • Ensure proactive compliance with respect to Global Savings Policy and general accounting and business policies & procedures
  • Leads LE process by guaranteeing accuracy of the data and assumptions being used
  • Prepare management review decks and effectively frame & communicate business insights to senior management to help inform and drive fact-based decisions
  • Support Global Categories Source Finance team with Analysis, views, breakdowns and other meaningful ad-hoc studies and reports
  • Leverage available data and technologies to lead process improvements within the Source Finance team that can be scaled up and standardized across regions/categories
  • Build and foster a transparent & collaborative partnership with the other key finance teams (Regional teams, Global Source, COE, Tech&Data, GPO)

Required qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is required preferably a major in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree or other financial certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA) are preferred.
  • Finance or related business experience is required (FMCG Supply Chain experience would be preferred)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required
  • Strong technical and analytical background. A good proficiency in using power BI/Knime/Alteryx is an advantage
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
