Kenvue is recruiting for a
Consumer Business Insights (CBI) Senior Manager for the Essential Health and Skin Health
based in EMEA.
Kenvue develops and markets beloved brands that address the needs of consumers and health care professionals worldwide. Our portfolio ranges across several business units: Baby Care, Oral Care, Skin Care, Beauty, Feminine Care, and Self Care products.
The CBI Senior Manager will work closely with the EMEA Franchise Marketing team to guide the portfolio and innovation strategies for the EMEA region. The manager will lead all aspects of consumer-centered innovation: opportunity definition, insights generation, proposition optimization, pricing, communication, as well as go-to-market and distribution plans. The manager will use advanced analytics, innovative immersive techniques and research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) to drive deeper understanding of the opportunities and action them in collaboration with a multifunctional business team. This role will require strong collaboration with local lead markets (especially UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy). The ideal candidate has a track record of translating findings into concrete recommendations that drive business growth.
Specifics:
- Independently and proactively identifies the key business issues/questions and develops the most appropriate learning plans (crafting primary research, analyzing and integrating existing knowledge sources, using syndicated or user generated knowledge); Acts as an expert in research design, right sized learning plans and focus on key business questions and opportunities.
- Integrates knowledge from multiple sources and builds meaningful interpretations and recommendations that address business issues; Interprets and pragmatically translates findings into strategic, clear & actionable business recommendations.
- Ensures alignment with key business partners. Guides cross-functional team members to an objective viewpoint. Communicates complex issues with impact and clarity. Acts as a business partner, not just a market research specialist. Handles complex business issues and helps team set strategic direction. Drives consensus.
- Evaluates and incorporates new/emerging research tools that provide increased consumer insight and business growth; Uses broader range of research tools/resources/processes to assess business issues. Assess the supplier landscape and recruit/develop new suppliers who can provide Kenvue with competitive advantage
- Uses knowledge of key macro trends and leads understanding of consumer, market and competitive landscape to diagnose business performance issues or to call out unmet opportunities.
- Encourages vendors to act as “strategic thought partner”, supervises vendor partners to advance projects and proactively prioritizes across multiple work streams.
- Consistently demonstrates business ethics and works rigorously under company research principles.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be hard-working and capable of prioritizing own agenda and objectives.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with the multitude of partners across the region and execute distributed x-country projects in partnership with market CBI and marketing
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners in a complex matrix organization to impact decision-making
- Technical market research and analytical knowledge. Conversant in a range of quantitative and qualitative ad hoc research techniques and syndicated business analyses.
- Strong communication skills; Ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely.
- Consistent evidence of growing leadership in fast-paced business environment. Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferable.
- 6+ years of experience in Market Research, preferably in a consumer marketing company.
- OTC experience preferred but not required.
- Multi-country research experience, with demonstrated understanding of cross-cultural specificities.
- A Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree preferred, in Business, Marketing or equivalent (Market Research, Social Sciences or Statistics preferred).
- This position may require approximately 10-20% domestic and international travel.
- Knowledge of Multiple European languages is preferred.
