What will you

As Supply Planner (Vendor Replenishment Planner – Pharmacy), this person will be part of Supply Chain Supply team and is responsible for managing the replenishment process across Pharmacy through effectively planning and controlling inventory in our pharmacy customers. This role will help drive the development of operations to deliver key service outcomes for our customers. It is essential that this role develops strong relationships with customers’ supply chain teams through regular meetings, defining a common agenda and collective goal setting.

This role will add value to our Company Purpose by emphasizing on Outside in Focus by capturing the voice of the customer in our daily operations. This will further drive a customer centric culture within the Supply Chain team. This role will also encapsulate our Company Value “We care fiercely” by demonstrating that we’re driven to win for those we serve. This will require:

Supply Planning (40%): 

  • Monitor and controll inventory across Pharmacy DCs to ensure optimal stock holdings to maintain baseline, promotional and display demand forecasts while ensuring high service level.
  • Ownership of regular supply / Commercial collaboration meetings detailing, supply risks, upcoming activations and product performance, projects and supply efficiencies.
  • Partner Cross-functionally with Internal Kenvue teams (Demand Planning, Deliver teams and Commercial) to align on demand forecast and support promotional and event execution, on time delivery and service performance
  • Contribute to the achievement of KPI’s targets including but not limited to: DIFOT, OBSL, SIF, SOT, OSA, Advantage survey, palletization, supply compliance, MLOR compliance.
  • Support tactical day to day management of the customers supply chain requirements (facilitation of BIS requests, EDI, customer service support, RDD etc.)
  • Analyze & report reasons for service failures. Identify and coordinate service recovery initiative in instances where customer expectations would otherwise not be met and drive initiatives to correct & prevent future occurrences.  
  • Analyzes stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment

Internal and external stakeholder management (30%):

  • Facilitation of F2F customer supply chain meetings – Pharmacy Customers
  • Present metrics of performance. Coordination of meetings, problem solving. Alignment for Customer presentations, initiatives follow up. 
  • Communicates with supervisors, vendors, staff to resolve any problems and/or concerns. Provides information and assistance for inventory policies and/or procedures
  • Ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed of Supply Chain changes that may influence service, inventory and stores, Buying or Suppliers
  • Regularly updating key stakeholders on supply performance and forward order expectations

Reporting and Integrated Business Planning (30%):

  • Develop reports to keep service management aware of potential trends, shortages, back orders, and status of service parts as required
  • Investigate delivery non-conformances and discrepancies with Customer Service team, 3rd party logistics providers and logistics team promptly.
  • Provide customer specific supply chain lens within IBP/ S&OE process.
  • Implement Supply chains cost saving initiatives (truck rounding, Palletization, review order frequency)

Key Working Relationships:

  • Major customer supply teams (Pharmacy), 3rd party logistics and warehousing, Carriers, Commercial buyers, other external vendors.
  • Demand Planning, Sales, Category, Marketing, Packaging, Project Management, Finance, Customer service, Logistics.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Preferred minimum education: Tertiary degree or equivalent work experience considered. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a FMCG or Consumer Pharma company. Sales operation experience will be a plus to help build strong X-functional collaboration.
  • Preferred area of study: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Math, Business.
  • Preferred related industry experience: Preferably FMCG, VRP / ISP with SAP ECC experience

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships.
  • Confident ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • FMCG Industry experience working across both sales and supply.
