Job Responsibilities:
Essential Supervisory Functions:
Performs supervisory duties such as performance evaluation, talent development, succession planning, disciplinary actions, etc.
Cultivate growth through the development of high potential employees.
Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes.
Handle conflict and counsel employees that require disciplinary actions.
Other Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate Fixed Assets processing, accounting, and reporting, operating within the Company’s guidelines.
Ensure the company’s fixed assets are properly maintained for corporate and tax books. This includes capitalization, disposals, and transfers.
Monitors completion of period-end closings, including FA to GL reconciliation and account analysis.
Identify and manage the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies, while maintaining strong internal controls.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant supervisory experience.
Must be a team player with drive, ambition, a positive attitude, and businesslike conduct.
Ability to demonstrate leadership by example and remain calm under pressure.
Possess analytical / problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate financial acumen.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks without supervision.
Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to prioritize and follow-through.
Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Ability to maintain high degree of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the department.
