What you will do
The Technical Operations (TECH OPS) Senior Packaging Engineer is responsible for development and qualification of tertiary packaging projects mainly, on top of Life Cycle Management on primary and secondary packaging. These projects might be – but not limited to – quality and compliance, improvement of existing packaging, qualification of equivalent packaging materials, plant support. The TECH OPS Senior Packaging Engineer demonstrates high level of accountability in projects documentation to ensure Quality & Compliance targets are systematically met. She/He will lead activities of Mandra Site, incidentally supporting on demand the requests of other Kenvue sites in EMEA if needed.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate technical solution, including materials aligned to sustainability guidelines
Define & execute the packaging development plan
Analyze and validate packaging technical drawing
Define and communicate packaging milestones
Evaluate and communicate risks with associated mitigation/back up plan
Initiate safety assessment process, through proper communication to responsible department
Generate Packaging documentation for Product release for his own projects or can validate packaging document for projects managed by another member of the Team
Be part of transversal team on simplification/innovation project
Create Packaging component specifications and can validate PC specs and Finish product specs
Lead external suppliers in technical assessment and validation process of improvement projects
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial)
3 -5 years of experience in R&D Packaging or Engineering Packaging is required
Proficient skills in English and in Greek (verbal and written)
Understanding of manufacturing site operating models and GMP knowledge
Desired Qualifications
Strong skills in Project Management
Good relational and organizational skills, proactivity and flexibility in problem solving
Ability to work in a team and to interact with all levels of the organization
