HybridWhat you will do
Recommend & execute Supply Chain Strategies appropriate to EM (External Manufacturers) to meet the Company’s business needs; in particular with EHS&S, Quality & Compliance, Customer Service, and Cost of Goods.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, analyse and improve manufacturing and supply system performance across external manufacturing (EM) sites, including EHS&S outcomes, quality performance, production plan attainment, labour utilisation and delivery performance, using engineering and work-measurement principles.
Apply industrial and production engineering methodologies to analyse workforce utilisation, production schedules, operational data and cost drivers to determine optimum worker, equipment and process efficiencies across EM operations.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering and operations activities to plan and manage project labour, materials, plant and equipment for timely execution of manufacturing projects, purchase orders and new product introductions.
Project manage engineering, process and compliance initiatives at EM sites, including defining functional responsibilities, reviewing work scopes, project documentation and organisational structures to ensure clarity of accountability, elimination of duplication and effective deployment of work units.
Develop, review and enforce engineering standards, policies and procedures for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance, ensuring compliance with Kenvue standards, regulatory requirements and engineering best practice.
Analyse and resolve manufacturing, compliance and delivery issues through root cause analysis of equipment performance, process capability, workforce deployment and system constraints, escalating material risks and recommending corrective engineering solutions.
Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives by redesigning processes, improving material flows, capacity utilisation and equipment effectiveness, and supporting the development of labour standards through work sampling and performance benchmarking.
Support evaluation and ongoing governance of external manufacturers, including assessment of facility layout, equipment capability, production systems, maintenance practices and compliance readiness against engineering and safety standards.
Compile, analyse and report manufacturing performance data for the Pacific region, maintaining accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly datasets to support engineering analysis, capacity planning, productivity assessment and operational decision-making.
Conduct site inspections and performance reviews to ensure plant, equipment and systems operate at optimum efficiency, quality and safety levels, and to validate adherence to approved designs, maintenance schedules and engineering controls.
Coordinate and support maintenance planning and execution, including alignment of maintenance schedules with production requirements, engineering change implementation and readiness for new designs or product introductions.
