HybridWhat you will do
The External Manufacturing Commercialization Manager is responsible for the coordination of new product launch and life cycle management activity at Kenvue’s external manufacturing locations. In a project management capacity, the EM Commercialization Manager will lead a cross-functional team through operational aspects of project planning, scale-up, and commercial validation of new products and projects impacting or enhancing existing products. The EM Commercialization Manager will develop or contribute to the development of a project timelines, host recurring meetings to track progress, and drive progress in achieving key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and launch new product introduction and life cycle management projects on-time
- Partner closely with base business external manufacturing leaders to resolve product supply issues
- Lead cross-functional meetings with internal and external business partners to achieve key project milestones
- Coordinate the validation and scale-up strategies to ensure product supply requirements are met
- Proactively identify and mitigate any potential risks that would have impact to delivering key project milestones
- Support external manufacturing team site objectives for performance, agility, reliability of supply, purchasing, inventory control, and capacity management
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners including PMO, R&D, Make, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure the successful execution of NPI key project milestones, resource allocation, and on-time launch
- Communicate project risks, key findings, and project/program updates in a logical and structured manner to senior management and other business stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Resolve raw material, components, and finished good quality & GMP issues
- Issue purchase orders for materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements
- Provide training, support, and advisement to cross-functional business partners to ensure project launch success
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution, reduce project costs, and increase operational efficiencies
- Support the implementation of network strategy decisions to consolidate, on-board, or expand our network of external manufacturing sites
- Coordinate and lead root cause analysis, risk mitigation plans, and solution identification with internal and external business partners
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications:
- The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. MBA or advanced degree is preferred
- A minimum of 8 years related experience or an MBA with 4 years related experience. Related areas include Supply Chain/Operations, External Manufacturing, Project Management, Technical Transfer, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain Sourcing, Product Development, R&D, and/or Supply Planning
- Experience working with Manufacturing Operations in a GMP environment
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and sustainable solutions
- Effective verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage dynamic timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
Desirable Qualifications:
- Project Management Training and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
- Prior knowledge of advanced planning systems such as ERP, MRP, and/or SAP
- Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification
