What you will do

As a Financial Analyst – Inventory, based in Cali, Colombia or Sao Paulo, Brasil you will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, supporting financial planning, and maintaining robust financial models. You will play a key role in analyzing inventory-related data, supporting budgeting and expense tracking, and identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced data analytics and inventory analysis to optimize inventory valuation and forecasting models, while monitoring supply, demand, pricing trends, and inventory costs to deliver actionable insights to management and sales teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, and other teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop and implement inventory financial policies, standards, and procedures, including dynamic financial dashboards that provide real-time insights into inventory turnover, carrying costs, and risk exposure.
  • Lead initiatives to innovate and automate financial reporting processes, improving monthly and quarterly closings and reducing errors.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and build comprehensive financial models and ad hoc analyses to assess the financial impact of inventory fluctuations and improve inventory profitability.
  • Manage inventory expense and capital budgeting processes, tracking variances and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support senior analysts with in-depth research and analysis to resolve complex inventory financial issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, inventory management, or related roles.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute financial plans aligned with organizational strategies and operational goals.
  • Experience managing budgets, accruals, and financial analytics in an inventory or compensation-related context.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills, financial modeling expertise, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Proven ability to translate complex inventory data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in finance, sales analytics, commercial operations, or global business insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
