Role reports to: Financial Reporting Team Lead

What you will do
The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for helping prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and related analyses, assisting in the financial planning process, maintaining financial models, conducting basic research and analysis, documenting current financial reporting processes, supporting process teams, and preparing topside journal entries associated with duties:
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement financial reporting features
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for business decisions
- Document and streamline financial reporting processes for efficiency
- Support other accounting functions and prepare topside journal entries
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve financial reporting efficiency
- Adhering to accounting standards (like GAAP and IFRS), regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Provide support for audit requirements
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- University/Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software such as SAP, OneStream & Blackline
Desired Qualifications
- Proven working experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of financial frameworks (such as US-GAAP and IFRS) and tools such as Excel, SAP, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
