What you will do

The Fixed Assets Senior Analyst is part of Kenvue's global Finance Operations which is responsible for overseeing the accurate accounting, reporting, and lifecycle management of the company’s fixed assets in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. This role plays a key part in month-end close, capital expenditure governance, and audit support, while also driving process improvements and supporting cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain and manage the fixed assets subledger, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals.
  • Prepare and review monthly depreciation calculations and reconciliations between the fixed assets subledger and general ledger.
  • Ensure fixed asset accounting complies with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP as applicable).
  • Perform period-end and year-end close activities related to fixed assets with high accuracy and timeliness.

Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Management

  • Review and validate CapEx requests to ensure appropriate capitalization in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor construction-in-progress (CIP) balances and ensure timely completion and capitalization.
  • Partner with project owners, procurement, and operations teams to track asset readiness and useful lives.

Controls, Compliance & Audit

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements (if applicable), and company asset policies.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and asset verification processes, including reconciliation of discrepancies.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify opportunities to improve fixed asset processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
  • Support fixed asset system enhancements, automation initiatives, and master data cleanup.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and business partners on fixed asset policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a subject matter expert for fixed assets, providing advice to Finance, Operations, IT, Real Estate, and Procurement teams.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve asset-related issues and ensure data accuracy.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
  • 4–7 years of progressive experience in fixed assets accounting, general accounting, or controllership roles.
  • Strong experience with capitalization policies, depreciation concepts, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and fixed asset modules
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards related to fixed assets.
  • Advanced analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to challenge and enhance existing processes.
  • Willing to work on midshift, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, managing EMEA region

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Exposure to SOX controls and audit environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members
