What will you do
The Associate Medical Manager will maximize the value and mental availability of our brands with consumers, patients and relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Korea aligned to the company’s vision, values and business objectives.
You will leverage your medico-scientific expertise, clinical insights and externally-orientated mindset to enable the delivery of projects with tangible business impact covering scientific engagement, thought-leadership, evidence-generation and medical education. A critical part of this role is to proactively engage and maintain relationships with KOLs, Universities, Hospitals and Research institutions to drive Kenvue thought-leadership, scientific credibility, trust and advocacy for the science behind our brands.
Operating with an end-to-end mindset you will provide medical expert insights and robust risk-benefit management working in close partnership with your MSS segment colleagues and wider cross-functional teams at a local and regional level including marketing, sales, business development, finance, compliance, translational sciences, communications and Regulatory affairs.
For projects under your responsibility, you will be accountable for managing budget, timings and executional delivery as aligned with the medical strategy, your line manager and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Enabling the development and delivery of local medical brand plans covering evidence-generation, educational program design and execution, key professional scientific communications and KOL engagement
· Build and maintain a trusted panel of local experts that can deliver industry leading, highly relevant scientific content to engage and educate HCPs
· Aligned with global brand and regional HCP strategy, partner with external stakeholders to share our science at forums, congresses, government events etc. to earn trust and advocacy for our brands
· Lead collaborations with the relevant local medical associations and where relevant support local teams engaging professional/government bodies
· Enable activation of new medico-scientific content for amplification with KOLs/ HCPs/ Health Authorities/ Customers and Consumers
· Develop and maintain strong internal networks to drive scientific excellence, technical rigor and increase recognition as to the importance of HCPs to our brands
· Conduct regular training sessions to educate internal employees on the science of our products
· Partner with the local and regional R&D teams to support the activation of new claims, scientific communications and demos that elevate and/or differentiate our products through superior science.
· Support commercial events including but not limited to live demos, Q&A sessions, PR engagements etc. to share our science with consumers and customers.
· Ensure local medical enquiries from internal and external customers are responded to in timely fashion with high quality and in accordance with internal policy and external legislation.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
· A physician, pharmacist or biological sciences PhD with > 3 years industry-relevant experience supporting both innovation and life cycle management projects.
· Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams with outstanding communication, mental and people agility skills to activate and engage others as well as influence without authority.
· Proven track record of driving HCP engagement and KOL advocacy
· Experience of developing and administering internal technical training programs
· Being able to connect cross-functionally building strong interdependent partnerships internally and externally
· Good project, budget and time-management skills
· Strong personal leadership skills with the ability to influence and constructively challenge the cross-functional team, stakeholders and business partners.
