Job Title: Data Visualisation Developer / Business Analyst - EMEA Data and Analytics

Location: Bangalore

Position Summary: As a Data Visualization Developer / Business Analyst for the EMEA Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable insights through effective data visualization. Knowledge of agentic analytics and its implications for future dashboard development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.

• Data Visualization Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to best practices in data visualization.

• Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights, providing recommendations based on your findings.

• User Training & Support: Provide training and support to users in leveraging dashboards and reports, ensuring they understand how to access and interpret the data.

• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers and other team members to ensure data integrity and availability for visualization projects.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, including emerging technologies like agentic analytics, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the dashboarding experience.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of dashboard functionalities, data sources, and user guides to facilitate user understanding and promote best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in data visualization development with proficiency in Power BI and Tableau.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

• Experience acting as a business analyst, with a proven track record of gathering requirements and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of agentic analytics and how it may shape the future of data visualization and dashboarding.

• Experience with SQL and data querying.

• Experience with Snowflake/Databricks.

• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.

• Background in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail) is a plus.
