Kenvue is currently recruiting for:

Plant Planning Manager

This position reports into Senior Regional Supply Chain Manager and is based in Pomezia Santa Palomba (Rome).

What you will do

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and coach the Planning team, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and operational needs.
  • Guarantee product availability for local and export markets, meeting service, timing, and cost objectives.
  • Manage the full production planning process for bulk and finished goods, ensuring an accurate balance between demand, capacity, and shopfloor constraints.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
  • Identify supply risks, propose mitigation scenarios, and ensure transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Apply and enhance planning methodologies, processes, and standards to support PLAN maturity and improve service, inventory, and agility.
  • Execute the regional inventory strategy, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing slow‑ and non‑moving inventory.
  • Provide ongoing short‑, mid‑ and long‑term supply visibility to market teams and the DELIVER organization.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fields.
  • 8–10 years of experience gained within a manufacturing environment, with direct responsibility in: production planning, plant planning, operational management of manufacturing areas
  • Strong and practical understanding of manufacturing processes, shopfloor dynamics, material flows, and capacity & scheduling principles.
  • Proven experience managing complex production plans and evaluating capacity scenarios, with a hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Solid cross‑functional collaboration skills with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
  • Ability to work closely with the plant organization, understand its real operational constraints, and identify opportunities to optimize service, efficiency, and inventory.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in matrix and collaborative work environments.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in leveraging advanced planning systems (e.g., APS, ERP) to drive operational excellence.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, production planning software, and data analytics tools to support decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead innovative projects that streamline production workflows and reduce costs.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a knack for anticipating challenges and crafting inventive solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes that align with organizational objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to convey strategic implications and operational impacts to senior leadership and key business partners.
  • Commitment to maintaining credibility as a trusted advisor and knowledgeable leader across multiple business functions.
  • A passion for continuous learning and applying emerging technologies to transform plant planning processes.

  • Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: 68.850 - 88.493 euros
