Ce que tu vas faire

The R&D Scientist Baby Care is responsible for the implementation of innovation projects to support our Regional product pipeline for Baby Care: From Creams to Lotions, from Shampoo’s to Cleansers, you will have the opportunity to showcase your capability across our two iconic baby care brands - Aveeno Baby® & Johnsons Baby®

Your primary responsibility is to deploy product innovation – combining Asian consumer insight with formulation expertise to assemble products that consumers love. Delivering high quality, safe, sustainable & efficacious products with exceptional consumer experience – whilst ensuring formulas are ready for scale-up to production.

You will need to be a passion about products and science, combining requirements on product performance & quality, together with strong consumer insight. This will mean you working with our consumer scientists, packaging, analytical teams, quality & process development teams, so you need to be a strong communicator and ensure our innovations deliver On-Time-in-Full.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for delivering innovation projects for Johnson's & Johnsons Baby®

· To maintain a safe and healthy work environment that complies with the company’s policies. - Working safely in our laboratory, handling materials and operating equipment

· Planning, executing and reporting laboratory trials – managing ingredient and formulation documentation to high standards in Kenvue systems.

· Developing and testing laboratory prototypes across a range of baby creams, lotions, shampoos & washes

· Identify and report potential risks with formula designs and suggest ways to mitigate and improve.

· Draft and execute technical reports and presentations.

· Create & refine impactful product demo’s that bring our science to life for consumers & customers.

· Create rigorous data sets and strong advice that allows business leaders to take data-based decisions.

· Working as part of a multi-functional team as well as being able to manage & seek guidance on your own workplan, run experimental programmes independently.

· To accurately record experimental finding and observations, maintaining high standards of data quality and record keeping across internal systems.

· Participate on technical team meetings and report findings to Head of Regional Baby

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

· A minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree, some industrial experience is preferred but not essential, Chemistry / Chemical Engineering degrees preferred

· Passionate to learn and develop in formulation and product science

· Work experience gained through internships or university industrial programmes also welcomed.

· As the role requires working with teams across Asia, you will need to have strong English skills (or willing to develop in role)

· Experience within laboratory environment & using/operating lab or a background in consumer science also welcomed.
