Ce que tu vas faire

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of both the US and Local GAAP & Tax reporting working closely with the Tax teams. This includes but is not limited to recording the statutory ledgers and maintaining accuracy of parallel ledgers (if applicable), focus on ensuring the correct tax accounting and coordination with internal and external audit teams.
• In charge of the complete and accurate accounting for all the General process flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. This includes but is not limited to managing OIE, Retained Earnings, Equity clearing, Interest, Royalties, Brand Marketing Expense costs. In addition, making sure allocations and apportionments are accounted for correctly
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements
• Design audit plans in terms of schedules, communication protocols, timely escalation.
• Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope
• Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities
• Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy
• Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implement ting them in line with global standards
• Performs supervision tasks to analysts that include performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, etc.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:  

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience having under responsibility the attention of the financial external audit (big four experience preferred)
• Intermediate English Level
• Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO.
• Experience in a Global Accounting for a large multi-state company.
• Knowledge of local regulations in countries other than Colombia.
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge (preferred).
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) .
• Skills- Advanced Microsoft Excel, understanding accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge and internal controls.
• Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
