Sr. Analyst Inventory – EMEA Supply Chain Excellence
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for driving regional inventory performance by leading governance routines, setting inventory targets, providing analytical support and system solutions to drive our regional inventory strategy. You will work closely with global, regional and local supply chain teams to balance service, cost, and working capital in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.
Inventory Governance & Performance Management
Lead and continuously improve the regional inventory governance cadence to ensure transparency, accountability, and performance tracking of key inventory KPIs such as Gross Inventory, DOS, Net Inventory and DIO.
Identify performance gaps versus targets, support root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions with markets and planning teams.
Ensure consistent application of inventory policies, standards, and governance frameworks across the region.
Target Setting & Strategic Alignment
Drive regional inventory target setting (BP, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3) by supporting planning cycles and strategic reviews with inventory scenarios, impact analysis, preparation of leadership reviews and translation of strategic inventory ambitions into operational targets.
Systems, Parameters & Continuous Improvement
Optimize safety stock methodologies and system settings to improve supply reliability while minimizing excess inventory.
Own and continuously improve inventory‑related system solutions (Anaplan, AIM, Inventory Reports) and provide trainings and ensure adoption deployed solutions.
Represent EMEA in global Inventory COP and drive improvements in inventory solutions together with Global Teams.
Identify/lead/contribute to regional and global continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and working capital reduction.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Act as a subject‑matter expert for inventory logic within EMEA Supply Chain, providing analytical support, guidance, and best practices on inventory management topics
Collaborate closely with Supply Planning, Cluster Supply Chain and Finance to ensure alignment of assumptions and decisions related to Inventory.
Communicate complex inventory insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field,
Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain analytics
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights,
Experience working with SAP, planning systems (Anaplan, OMP) and inventory parameters
Advanced Excel skills, SQL and data solutions (KNIME)
Experience in an FMCG or similarly fast‑paced supply chain environment,
Strong stakeholder management skills in a regional or matrix organization,
Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change across markets,
Structured and proactive mindset with a strong focus on results.
Fluency in English.
